This is me...
Hey, guys!
First off, I have read the AUP, the FAQ, and the Forum/Server guidelines.
I also happen to be over 25 (28 to be exact).
My main gaming handles are Kaine or DayWalkah. I answer to just plain old James also. I'm an avid gamer and have been for some years (since my dad bought us a Tandy computer) and am a little tired of joining guilds that have immature members that have to constantly get asked to pull their heads in.
My gaming experience, well, the online part mostly, encapsulates several MMO's and a couple of online shooters.
I've played Anarchy Online, Earth and Beyond, Neocron 1 + 2, SWG (ended up guildmaster of a 130+ strong guild there for over a year), Horizons, Dungeons & Dragons Online, Shadowbane (very briefly), WoW (hang my head in shame), BF2142, Unreal, Quake 3, Counterstrike, Day of Defeat, Team Fortress and good old Half Life 1.
I think there's a couple more in there somewhere but my memory eludes me.
I currently serve in the Royal Aust. Navy and have been for the past 10 years, I am currently 2 months into 4 months long service leave and I'll be discharging early next year, 2008.
Um.... what else can i say? What am I like? Well, I'm fairly easy going, funny and my wife tells me I have a cute bum (send PM for pics). I've held leadership positions in MMO's before due to my levelheadedness and patience, although its something I'd rather leave to others these days as I just want to wade through my enemies with bullets/swords/spells/harsh language. I'm currently looking forward to playing Hellgate: London as I've been Beta testing it along with Tabula Rasa these last few months/weeks. I still play BF2142 although that will probably change tomorrow when HGL comes out.
Whats my gaming style? Depending on the action, I make a good assault grunt, not afraid to take a few bullets for the team (or paintballs as it turns out). I'm a big fan of Ranger type classes, anything sneaky and pretty much anything that deals out large amounts of damage but cant really take it. I was the quintessential 'Front-line Sorcerer' in D&D Online, much to the chagrin of our Clerics.
And yes, I was a Jedi in SWG (pre-nge of course). I was also the only Squad Leader/Rifleman PvPer I saw when I pursued that arena. I'm a fan of taking an existing class and redefining it to work in unusual and efficient ways.
Well, I guess I've waxed lyrical to you fellows for long enough, take me if you will, or feed me to the hounds.
Stay Sharp!
