Application for TOG (GW) Membership

I'm a 37 year old unix sysadmin referred to TOG by colleague trippster19 (also responsible for sucking me into Guild Wars) and "Santa Kevorkian". I'm looking to join a guild where I can play with some RL friends (and others) without the exhaustion of teenage drama.

A veteran of and refugee from WoW (where the grind is worse than working at a rubber ball sorting plant) and EVE Online (where I found the PvP and strategy very rewarding, but 0.0 Ops required an absurd time commitment), I'm a relative newcomer (2 mo.) to GW, drawn in by its "tactical" elements. Hopefully not starting any flamewars here (vi==good, emacs==bad).

My first love would likely be the text-only Infocom games of the 1980's (Zork I-III, Enchanter, Sorcerer, Spellbreaker, Lurking Horror, etc).

2. You have read and agreed to the forum/server guidelines.

All of the above seems to be a fairly standard, perfectly reasonable boilerplate agreement. (Don't abuse service or people, don't be a liability to the service, don't be a jerk)

Yeah its pretty simple stuff but it is the cornerstone of TOG, anyway your all good so enjoy your stay.

Once you are made a full member of TOG I suggest you stop off at the Private GW Forums (which you will have access to as a full member of TOG.)
