Hello My gaming name is Longsword887 the name has no particular significant other than it’s the first online name I was able to pick. I decided to check out this game my son was spending a lot of time playing he is 10, there was something about some girl helping him play on line. It was quite interesting here he was on line and on the phone to this girl tying up both the phone and the computer. I thought I had cured that problem when we upgraded from dial up. It was a medieval swords and dragons sort of thing I think it was Rune Quest or something, Longsword I thought was appropriate but I had to add the 887 because to many other people thought it was a good name to and I guess I kept using it for other games so I would not have to remember another. I plaid Diablo, Command and Conquer, Possum Bayou, Doom, Warcraft, Starcraft, Rise of Nations, Enemy Territory Quake Wars ( I got this one with a video card I bought, it crashes a lot but it was the one that kind of got me hooked on the online thing) and my brother in Austin Texas sent me a Call of Duty war chest for Christmas. I have never thought of joining a Clan before its always seamed a little juvenile but I was having problems getting online to play Call of Duty and it was suggested that it might help. I checked out a few through Xfire something that came with Call of Duty and found your sight and thought you guys and galls might be the ticket. I sort of binge play, I have just gotten off of shift work and put onto a 10 hour 4 day a week day shift. I was working rotating shifts 2 to 3 days on day’s couple of days off and then 2 to 3 nights. It really messed me up physically but with the help of a couple notes from a couple Doctors I am now a day walker and my sleep schedule is getting back to normal. Shift work gave me time during the week to play while my wife and kids were at work and school but wasn’t healthy or really good for the marriage. I now get to play after every one else has gone to bed but not every night that would not be conducive to a good marriage. So I sort of binge play, a lot for a couple days a week and then I have to give it a break. I am 43 I have read the AUP & FAQ and have read the forum/ server guidelines and I am willing to play nice and follow the rules. I have no intentions of bugging people with spam or trying to sell stuff I just would like a good safe place to have some fun with other people like myself. I live in Mississauga Ontario Canada but work 50 minutes on a good day on the other side of Toronto a place called Pickering. I work as a mechanical maintainer at a power plant. I have a very loving wife 2 kids who will be the death of me I am sure and belong to a great church that is really like a big family. Do not worry I will not be recruiting to join the church but there are a large number of gamers that might be recruited by you. I am not the greatest player so please be patient with me. I hope you will accept my request for acceptance into your clan. ( isn’t spell check great )

Hi there Longsword!

Once you get TOGgerized (fixed up by the Admins), drop into the Foxhole section of the forums, thats where all the COD new recruits go, and I'm sure Captain Fiona will look after you. TOG are a great bunch to play with (especially COD!!!) I agree with u about Clans being very juvenile, so thankgod TOG doesnt see itself as a "clan". CYA on the servers!!
