Dear Thorns of Grey
I am a 30 y/o professional from Portland, Oregon who got introduced to WOW last summer (2007). I have one level 70 Undead Warlock and a Level 27 Blood Elf Paladin.
I have been a part of two guilds so far. One guild booted me after not playing for a month (I was out of the country) and the guild I'm in now is with friends but I'm the only 70 in it. I would really like to do some of the higher-level instances (still need third Kara key fragment) but have not been able to do any as of yet--hence the reason i'm searching for a guild.
I read through your terms of service and am interested in joining if they are actually followed. Namely, I'm hoping to find a guild of people who exercise common-courtesy (caring for each other as people as well as players, including taking problems private, not leaving players stranded in instances, alliance cities or raids, not yelling at each other and using foul language if someone makes a mistake, etc etc), who dont' think offensive slang is appropriate (How many times do people need to call something "gay" without realizing that its' offensive?) and who run multiple raiding schedules ,and finally who has officers or "help" people who can explain things a bit. I understand the game a fair bit, but still have not yet memorized EVERY abbreviation for example
I look at the list I just made and realize that "older" players in my opinion, would be perhaps best suited for creating that type of atmosphere. I hope TOG is the place for it.

Look forward to meeting you all.
