Hello from SW PA (but Canadian born and bred),
I'm a 33 year old gamer, married, and full of pith and vinegar. I'm fairly certain those 3 are related. I came to TOG in the hopes of finding an active and fun community to participate in. I've poked around the recesses of the internet on and off for a long time trying to find a mature group of guys and gals to share my enjoyment of the hobby with. I don't know why I didn't stumble on TOG earlier.

My gaming interests are as varied as can be. Just tonight I was taking care of some achievements and personal goals on Beautiful Katamari. Yesterday I was playing Syphon Filter: The Omega Strain online. Last weekend (and this weekend hopefully) I spent a good amount of my nights with Call of Duty 4.
I enjoy third person action most of all, with modern FPS not far behind. I've had my moments with MMORPG but find I can't invest the time I want to, so I dropped that habit (but not the fond memories). I'm not overly competitive when it comes to online gaming, but I do like to pace myself more than the gung ho majority.
The games I'm playing now are Call of Duty 4, Syphon Filter: The Omega Strain (still and always), Two Worlds, Assassin's Creed, Legacy of Kain: Defiance (still catching up on the backlog of awesome games) and Battle for Middle-Earth II, among others. 360 and PS2 are the consoles I'm online with.

I'm anxious to meet some fellow older gamers and just have a good time on the forum and online.
