Regretfully I registered before reading the FAQ so my forum name is KB and my character name is Ophila (currently level 22 hunter).

I have been playing MMOs since EQ beta. I played EQ from 1999 until 2006 and still log on from time to time to check in with old friends. I just do not have the time to keep up with the raid or die mentality that EQ has become. I also played EQ2 for a couple of years and have been playing WoW for two years. My first character was on Bonechewer but PvP just doesn’t interest me after playing the style that EQ had to offer. I have two level 70 Alliance characters (Niayl – Druid and Lanys – Hunter) and a level 40ish Paladin named Theism. I started Ophila – hunter and a Druid and Priest on Horde side just to experience both the new playing areas for the Blood Elves and Horde quests in general. I thoroughly enjoyed the Blood Elf starting areas and was more than a little sad when I found myself in the Barrens.


I am 30 soon to be 31 years of age. My play times are weird and varied. Some weeks I will play far too much and then go days without even thinking about it. It just depends on the level of distraction I need. My hours are usually late nights from 9 pm CST until I get tired, which could be anywhere from midnight to 3 or 4 am. I also usually play for an hour or two in the early mornings.

I am in retail and have been for over a decade. Selling TVs is about all I know how to do anymore. I hold a leadership position and am responsible for the biggest department and the most employees in the store (Best Buy). I like my job most days or I wouldn’t still be doing it. I also write and have had a few things published here and there. I am currently in negotiation with a company concerning getting a collection of short stories (mostly non-fiction) published but I am in no hurry.

I live in West TN currently but have lived in Houston, St. Louis, New Orleans, and East TN over the last twelve years. I tend to roam frequently usually stemming from listening to too much Allman Brothers, Dylan, and Zeppelin.

I am not married and have no children but most of my “women” friends have children and I would rather play with them than play WoW any day of the week so if that opportunity arises I will be playing peek-a-boo rather than killing pixels.

My interests other than MMOs are writing as mentioned, cooking, reading, playing trivia at some corner bar, or doing a crossword puzzle. I tend to take weekend trips to St. Louis every other month or so and sometimes I just sleep all day.

My interest in Titans of Gore is based on the maturity of the guild both in age and action. I have yet to be disappointed after meeting a member of either the Alliance or Horde side of your guild. I can not tolerate the “TLDR” mentality of the majority of the current gaming population. I hope to avoid that with ToG.

I do not raid often if at all. I don’t even group that much but that is more due to my play times than anything else. I am mainly just looking for a nice, mature, courteous, and intelligent group of people to enjoy my time online with.
