I am in the Canadian Atlantic Time Zone (GMT-4, -3 April-November), and usually get some time to play some Friday and/or Saturday evenings, with the occasional Sunday thrown in. Also any storm days during the winter when work is canceled and the power stays on!

I've played some cooperative LAN games with a friend, but Guild Wars is the first MMOG I've gotten into. I saw the TOG description on Guild of the Week on one of the fan websites, and thought it sounded like a fun, but sensible and polite bunch of people to game with. My characters have gotten solicited by a few guilds and I appreciate a less aggressive approach (though one fellow at least whispered a chat which was appreciated). I'm not against the odd PVP mission, but PvE and Cooperative missions sounds much more fun.

Away from gaming, I'm a Programmer/Analyst in the public service, and I enjoy travel, camping, hiking, snowshoeing, amateur photography, cycling, FRP, Sci-fi and fantasy novels.

I forgot to mention that I also participate in geocaching and have visited caches in 5 Canadian provinces so far, including Canada's first geocache in Nova Scotia!
