I am located in Wales. I started playing WOW last year, got to level 24 and kinda burned out as none of my friends were interested in playing, one of the problems of being an older gamer I guess. I am keen to start again, either with WOW or maybe Lord of the rings if anyone recommends it? I was interested in being a priest this roll in wow but that seems to be geared at someone who plays with friends a lot, so not sure, anyone had a similar experience?

Default Age test

Dear all,

I was just wondering how you make sure everyone is as old as they say they are? Do I have to sit a TOG citizenship test with questions such as what were Snickers and Starburst originally called, because tests always make me nervous I am much more of an essay kinda guy! Just kidding but if it came to it I can only think of the names of three thundercats!

Also why do I have an orange tick, no one else does, have I been marked out? It feels like being at the airport when one of the custom guy's points at you and you know something bad is going to happen, and you wish you had declared the big bottle of vodka in your bag!

I would certainly recommend LOTRO, but I am more than a touch biased .

Feel free to come on down to the LOTRO EU forum for a chat.

A lot of our players have played WoW and may be able to give you an insight as to why they moved.

I think I would fail the Thundercat test, but only because it was after my time. I'm more the Thunderbirds generation.

Whatever you decide to do then TOG will be there to help, which is nice.

Oh, and the orange tick means you are subscribed to the thread!

Thanks Markan,

I worked out what the tick meant after thanks, typical newbie eh! I am also having the lotro debate in their forums, I am about to get a mac was the disscusion but that won't really run it, so I may try it on my old pc and hope it is good enough to run it!

Hopefuly see you around
