My first name is Ross... In game name is Kilvil. You can all me Ross, Kil, Rosco, Kilvil or anything that shouldn't be repeated to your mother. I have heard them all.
I live in Canberra (Yeh yeh! I'm not a public servant), in Australia, have 2 kids (Boy 3, Girl 5) and have been online gaming for around 12 years. I play every night after the kids go to bed (around 7:30pm AEST)... except when my wife wants quality time. And I love a few beers on Friday nights.
Before MMO's, I was into FPS. Played alot of Tribes/Tribes2 and Battlefield Vietnam torney's with a great bunch of guys and girls at AlterElectus. They eventually turned and started playing my first MMO.. Planetside. Which then lead to WoW. Two years later.... (can I get that time back??), they were still playing WoW and I left and mingled with EQ2, GW's, Shot Online (great game for the golfers out there, and I still play it occasionally), LoTRO and now EvE.
I have been playing Eve since November last year, have 2.5 mill SP and am loving the game. I joined a work mates corp (Black Knight Squadron Corp) which doesn't really have the organisation or communication that I would like from a corp. But they are nice people and are there to help a newb learn about the basics of the game. So I appreciate them for that. The final decision to leave them is purely based on them being kicked from the Free Trade Zone alliance. I kinda have my home around the Airaken area (near to BWF-ZZ) and have got to know the Roadkill alliance people in that area. Hence applying to ToG. Who are allianced with Roadkill.
So anyway.. I hope I didn't bore you to death and I look forward to hearing from you with whichever decision you make.
Have fun.
Cheers
Kil.
