TOG - The Older Gamers

Hmmm...where do I begin? First of all, I'm not real sure how I stumbled upon your little corner of the internet here, but I like what I have seen thus far. I have been in and around the gaming community for quite some time (10+ years). Most of my gaming history is within the realms of FPS games (Quake 2 is still one of my all-time favorites that I frequent quite often). Within the Q2 scene, I have been very active...(you might say I was obsessed with the game, in fact) and I even worked for PlanetQuake for a while.

I am also no stranger to RPG's. I thoroughly enjoyed playing Diablo II for several years as well. My current gaming addiction is Hellgate: London. After reading a few of the reviews here in your forums, I think I will also be checking out The Witcher very soon.

I have tried several MMORPG's, including WoW, NWN and Guild Wars to name a few...although they failed to captivate my interest for very long.

In the real world, I am a 36 y/o female. I am married to a hard-core gamer as well (we actually met online in a Q2 server, LOL). I am a satellite controller for the U.S. Army - stationed at Fort Detrick, MD. I have read all of the required rules/regulations, code of conduct, etc., etc. to be considered for membership within your community. I love being an online gamer...but I detest the frequent B.S. and drama that is all too common in some clans/guilds. I play games to relieve stress...not create it.

I hope that you will consider my application for membership. I'm looking forward to making some new friends and getting to know you all a little better.
