Hello TOG,

I'd like to thank you in advance for your consideration and your time.

Some basics.

I have read and agree with the AUG, FAQ and COC

Name: Steve - in most games I play go by the names Echoscout or Hydrablaze.

Age: 29, before I was directed to this site I use to be ashamed for some reason, not knowing that there were many others still fighting the gaming bug.

Location: Ontario, Canada - I am in the eastern time zone.

Occupation: Attended college then became a geotechnical driller, didn't like it anymore after a couple years. Back to college a year for chef training, became a professional cook, didn't like it anymore after a couple years. Now I am currently in college taking accounting - lets hope I like this one more then a couple years (I'm laughing right now sitting here at my computer but not sure why haha).

Play times: Single and in college - life is simple again at the moment. I play just about everyday from about 6pm to 11 or 12. On the weekend days I am on and off all day unless I have a raid/team outing or what not.

About me and games: I have been playing forever it seems. Atari 2600 is as far back as I can remember. I played games like most kids my age at the time. Things changed a bit when doom came around - I was talking and thinking about the game even when I was away from it. In high school was the first time I got really hooked - Diablo (damn you blizzard! *shake fist*) From diablo my gaming addiction just got better and better (should I be using the word "worst" here?) Then one summer about 8 or so years ago I started playing Everquest. I was part of a community, a team and a family. We didn't care about max level and "phat" loot back then. We care about one and other and having fun. Alot of nights I would sit in a zone and simply chat with others. From there I played alot of games, I have the urge to say most but I have no way of knowing. Here is a quick list of games I played that had an effect on me and that I played for at least 6 months. Everquest, Asheron's Call, Anarcy Online, Dark Age of Camelot, Lineage, WoW. There are a million of other games that I have tried but didn't like. I would guess that most of the people on this site by this time know what they like and don't like - we also have a good idea of what we are looking for in a game. At the moment I am playing Hellgate London - I just relieved myself of WoW a couple months ago and I'm trying to ease my way back into the swing of things while giving myself time to do homework. Its a nice change not being stuck to my computer because of a group/raid event. I think I'll be playing Hellgate London until Conan comes out in a couple months.

I'll end this very long application - please feel free to post any questions you may have for me.
