Salutations,
I have recently been playing a lot of Hellgate London and have run into a few of your members and have found them to be very friendly and good partners throughout the online experience. I have found myself in need of help many times and these ToG members have been very cool to me every time, one in particular was cameronephillips. So I started looking into groups about 3-4 weeks ago for a group that takes time to help out others and has a good sized knowledge base even if they are not in there group/guild/community and appreciate when others help out new players to accelerate the game and make it a more enjoyable experience on a team player level. After taking notice that the few players I ran into displayed good intentions and were willing to answer my newbie questions without it being a bother as some of the other guilds have presented themselves to be which can be very frustrating when going lone-wolf and you cannot get past certain objectives or bosses. So that brought me to your website and I was very impressed by the organization and commitment to the community of gamers you have acquired and the vast amount of games and platforms you support. Which is why I am now interested in becoming a member of the TOG community.

Well know some bits about myself, My name is Jeff Thornton and I am 33 years old, born and raised in San Diego, California now living in Denver, Colorado. I have been gaming ever since my parents had bought in the late 80’s a 386 dx2 66 with dos running the games, such as Kings Quest and Loadrunner for examples. As far as consoles go I started with Nintendo when it was first released. I have had the following consoles – Nintendo, SuperNintendo, N64, TurboGraphix, Sega Saturn, Xbox, Playstation 1 & 2, as well and I am now in the great debate for Xbox 360 or PS3. I enjoy first person shooters to racing games. Hellgate London is my first MMORPG and I am really enjoying the character development, being that Diablo and Diablo II where some of my most favorite games. I am a pretty dedicated late evening gamer from about 9p.m.-1a.m. when my two boys aren’t giving me a hard time. My screen name, when not taken, is Sanddune primarily and comes from growing up next to the desert and riding dirtbikes and sandcars out in the sanddunes. I have read through the AUP and FAQ and agree to all terms and conditions listed. I would be stoked if I was to be accepted into the The Older Gamers community because it looks like a good fit for my gaming lifestyle and the people I have run into have been very friendly and the type of community worth joining.
