That having been said,

My name is Mike, I am 32 years old and married. My wife and I ran what was at one time the largest horde guild and top 5 by level value on the server Rexxar in the game World of Warcraft. We ran our guild as a mature casual guild taking people only 16 or older. We recently canceled our subscriptions due to the repetitive boring nature of the end game timesink and put our guild in the hands of 2 mature, capable people when we left.

We've recently begun playing Everquest II on the Najena server (my 19 Human Monk is named Zaxvadn), and had entertained the possibility of finding a guild. It was absolutely necessary that we join a guild which excluded children and childlike players. A member of 'the old guard' suggested we join up here so as we could then possibly join their guild for people 25 or older. Once my wife can stop eating sunflower seeds long enough to sign up, she will be app-ing for membership also.

I am not sure what other information to include here. Gamewise, The Wife and I occasionally play Trackmania United, almost exclusively on the Grippes LOLmaps server. I occasionally play BF2142 as my only shooter game after leaving 'Delta Force: Black Hawk Down' which has been rife with cheating. I play Madden '08 on my ps2 nearly every saturday with a few people from work, as well as Tiger Woods '07. Sometimes I try to play those 2 games online, but as a casual occasional player I simply cannot compete with the people who live and breathe those games. Outside of games my hobbies are limited to fishing, firearms, and aquariums. I have a 55 gallon freshwater tank with a few ropefish and silver dollars. This weekend I am purchasing a digital camcorder and will begin conducting personal interviews with everyone in my life as well as documenting every insignificant event I encounter... to preserve and archive all of the knowledge, history, and beauty in my life and in the world around me. I'm an atheist libertarian who will probably vote for Obama. I mainly watch the history and discovery channel, as well as CNN and Fox news channels. John Carpenter's 'The Thing' is probably the greatest movie ever made. I used to smoke a lot of pot. I'd give anything to own another 1977 Lincoln Town Coupe with the 460 4v/c6 drivetrain. I cannot stand the smell of salad dressing and I do not eat salad. If I could go back in time, the only thing i would want to do is follow Frank Zappa around the world while he was touring to support the Over-nite Sensation and Apostrophe albums. I have a cat, we named it Ham... who needs kids when you have a cat named Ham.
