Hello,

I heard about T.O.G. from the Age of Conan forums.

1. You are over 25 - Yes (turned 56 in April)

I live in Saltburn [UK], have my own educational publishing company (very small). Started gaming with 1K RAM on an Acorn Atom bought in pieces at Maplins, moved onto Archimedes A3000 and so on up to my current machine ... a Dell XPS 630i. Can almost remember the name of the first game I ever finished ... but not quite (was on a Spectrum +3). Been playing Warcraft (alomost full-time) since April 2006. Got quite a few level 70's and I am an officer in a pretty decent guild on Azjol-Nerub Eu Server.I was lucky enough to get the Early start deal with Age of Conan, and I have a Collector's edition of Warhammer Online in the pipe.

Play most nights from 7pm onwards .. sometimes as late as 3am!! Hooked or what?

I tried putting your LOTRO tag as a referring member but it didnt want to know!

I'm looking forward to getting started properly on AoC. I've been beta testing for a few weeks. I think the Early Start begins at 6pm GMT when I am at a wedding. However, I'll be home again at 1am

I'll be sure to check out where everybody is once I get in (assuming) ....

Great news. Thanks a lot.

I am on the AoC forums every day. A sort of appalling fascination for the hugely hysterical posts that are constantly being made there. Human beings eh?

It appears to be taking a long time to get my permissions sorted out and even though I have been able to log in properly since last Tuesday, when I registered for Early Start .. I am still not able to post. Suppose they have more pressing things to think about at the moment.

I'd worked out the start time like this: 5pm GMT +1 hour BST = 6pm My Time

I will be rolling on Dagon, Aquilonia and Wildsoul ... just to keep my options open ... I like alts. My main is probably going to be a PoM with a Necro back up and a Conqueror and Assassin for the PvP elements.

Looking forward to it ... for another 3 hours at least I hear

game was launched half an hour ago, in that time somehow my patcher is corrupted and so i couldn't log into server, now reinstalling and downloading a new copy of the game in case..so angry i could cry!

Started playing at 1.30am

Had a Priest of Mitra (Necrond on Dagon), a Conqueror (Necrond on Aquilonia) and an Assassin (Necrond on Wildsoul) ... I like Necrond! up to level 5 by 4am. Then, as it was getting light and the dawn chorus was becoming deafening, I went to bed.

This morning I have a Necromancer (Necrosa on Dagon) at level 5.

Great fun so far ....

Wish I could figure out how to get the postal service working in Tortage.
