[DONE] Please, Sirs, Can I Join? (A Membership Application)

Hi there. My name is Klara and I'd like to join your community. I promise I'm well (WELL, I tell you) over 25. And mature. Most of the time. ("Mature" doesn't mean a total stick in the mud, after all.)

I've been playing computer games for *cough cough* about 26 or 27 years now, having started with Colossal Cave Adventure and Ultima III. I played the original EverQuest (though I wasn't that big on it) and about a million other games since. Lots of them. Too many to list.

Current online favorites are Hellgate: London, Mythos, and Requiem: Bloodymare (which is where I discovered this delightful group). I also play Guild Wars (barely) and a couple other free MMOs.

Offline favorites (by which I mean what I've been playing of late) include Assassin's Creed, The Witcher, Oblivion, Neverwinter Nights II, Galactic Civilizations, Civilization IV, and F.E.A.R. (my computer game tastes are pretty eclectic). I'm dying for Mass Effect PC to come out.

My computer of choice is a PC, in spite of those cute Mac commercials. We also have a Wii, a DS, and a Gameboy Advance. Do you think we've given Nintendo enough money?

I'll be 46 years old in June (notice how I buried that down here so a casual glance won't catch it, yet I'm sharing anyway so you folks can all see I'm a geezer). I've got a 12 year old daughter who also plays computer games (though she's not big on the level and loot grinding involved in most MMOs so she doesn't play online much) and a dog, two cats, and two rats who don't play any computer games because they lose interest and have a lot of trouble controlling the keyboard and mouse.

I really hate talking about myself and always end up babbling like a lunatic, so I'll just leave off on any further rambling or you won't want to have me here!
