Hi everyone.

I have known about this site and idea for a while, however have failed to take the plunge but feeling a little more social than usual lately

Have been playing computer based games since my Dads homemade Pong (were they all homemade?) Moved onto a Vic20 then c64. Had a few years break when I was all literary and read books instead but landed back in the PC world with Descent (1st true 3d game in my opinion) and doom. Played Quake online back in the day but gave the online thing a miss for years until TF2. I know I am being liberal with the definition of an MMO but it is now my MMO of choice mostly. Been loving the TOG TF2 server with its great custom maps.

I loved Elite on the c64 so when I found out those crazy Icelandics (?) Icewegians (?) were using it as inspiration for an MMO had to dive into EVE-online. Havent joined a guild yet but am enjoying the solo stuff greatly.

Am based in Canberra but was born and bred in Perth for 19-20 years. Basically I hope to meet some like minded people, have some fun and be stimulated
