Hey, I've been going by the gaming name Cado for roughly 6 years now, since my first MMO...Dark Age of Camelot (Go Hibs!) I think I might even answer to it in real life lol. So, just about every toon I've rolled has some version of the name

I'm 43 years old and started gaming at arcades and on my Intellivision lol....but got back into it with rpgs Neverwinter Nights and Final Fantasy on console systems. I've developed great friends from DAoC, even traveling to visit them in person, and still regularly keep in touch with them though we haven't played mmo's together for a bit. Since DAoC I've played Guild Wars, DDO, LOTRO, and even a lil WoW....making friends along the way

I'm now in AoC and quite enjoy it. I anticipate my good friends from DAoC coming to join in on AoC as well. We are also looking pretty closely at Warhammer Online.
I enjoy pvp a great deal as it was really the focus on DAoC (realm vs realm) w/o all the griefing, ganking, spawn camping, and other crud that occurs on many pvp rule sets servers. I currently have a 52 Conqueror on a PvE server, but want to play a pvp server in AoC. I'm looking very closely at a Priest of Mitra atm. I have a lifetime account on LOTRO (50 Loremaster and alts), but spend my playing time on AoC as I believe the pvp potential is far better here than most other games out.
I've lead pve raids in daoc, but mostly because i was pretty heavily involved in guild leadership. I prefer pvp and less pve raids

The other mmo's i didn't really get involved too much with raids or guild leadership.
I have vent and am not afraid to use it

I have fun playing mmo's as they are my hobby, but i'm quite competitive. I do enjoy helping guildies out with quests but have never really been too much into crafting...like exploring stuff and not just running through. I love the community and socializing in guilds, but sometimes I log in just to solo camp mobs to unwind from the day and not to socialize much....and I absolutely hate guild drama.
I appreciate your approach to gaming as I have a family and work that takes a good deal of time (wife -married 16 years, and 4 boys-12,9,7, and a newborn as of 6/19/08!).
I have read and agree with you policies, procedures, and guidelines. I have also read your FAQ post.
