I grew up in the days where my dinner money mostly went on Pacman and Donkey Kong in the arcades. Back then my favourite game was Robotron. Imagine my excitement when it was released on Xbox Live in its original glory
Yes I remember Pong and many of the Atari titles. I had a ZX81, ZX Spectrum, Commodore 64, Amiga600, Amiga 1200 ..spot the pattern

I love my PC now though. Consoles have their place but the PC will always be no.1 in my eyes.
I stumbled across WOW thinking I would give it a go as it was on special offer. 2 years later I was still hooked. Never had the time to do any raiding but I enjoyed the solo levelling experience and meeting a few friends along the way. I started to question the timesink v real life thing.
Dabbled with Guild Wars and EQ2. Will probably keep going back to GW now and again as I enjoy Nightfall.
Bought AOC day after release looking for a new 'fix' and I love it already. I doubt I will go back to WOW now even with the forthcoming release of WOTLK. AOC is obviously buggy with frequent server crashes but I can see huge potential in the coming months.
Just rerolled on Dagon PVE server in the hope my application is accepted. Got a POM called Quack (as in slang for Doctor). I know it's sad

. Never played a healer before but I'm liking it already. A very capable char, lots of variety.
Also got 3 other chars on Dagon:
Pyrokinetic - Demonologist
Pathological - Assassin
Tempered - Guardian
Back in my 'real life' I am married, have two dogs and a cat. The dogs are only pups and a real handful at the moment.
I work for a local authority developing Social Care software which involves some systems admin and report writing. It has it moments and pays the bills and my frequent PC upgrades
Love playing football and trying to stay in trim now I've reached the big 40.
I am usually sat behind my PC most nights for 2-3 hours including weekends. Usually play early morning and evening over weekends.
Hope to chat soon
