Now that I have some peace of mind (at last), here's a follow-up:
I played a lot of games, usually single-player or console games.. Most of my favorite games are classics, like:
Magic Carpet 2 (Best game ever), Worms 1, Decent, Dune 2, Dungeon Keeper, Carmageddon 2, Total Annihilation, Final Fantasy 7, Power Stone 2, Super Smash bros. Melee... The list goes on.
As for online games, I cannot play FPS's due to the lag I get here which is around 280-600 ms. The first online game I played was Diablo 2, then it was WoW like the rest of the herd.
The following is my opinionated philosophy (Just keep that in mind!):
I'm sick and tired of the:
☑ Serious Internet Gaming™
...Thats been going around lately with almost every game. Lots of people play to get the best and fastest Virtual Success possible: Gear, Level, Rank, Kills... To me, this sounds a lot more like a job than a game. I repeat, games are supposed to be fun!!
Say hello to:
☑ Games are Fun™
If you've been tempted into serious gaming lately, you need this Zen. Trust me, whatever virtual goal you have ahead of you that you're dying to reach, once you reach it there's just.. nothing.. So, enjoy your game as much as you can!! Level at your own pace, kill people, jump around in an inn while ranting in general chat.. Do whatever makes ya happy!
End of Philosophy
What else do I have to say.. well... Oh yes
I'm quite happy I found a mature guild, the Internet can be a dangerous place for the mind. I'm nto suer fi my por lillte houmn mind can kepe up wiht all teh danmd tyhpos, nor the incoherentmergedwords, or the lack of all sorts of punctuation because they think its unnecessary to have and they know its silly and all and also they like to use a lot of "And" and.. You see what I mean right?
Besides that, hmmmm.. Not sure how to describe meself anymore..
I work in a comfortable place as a Computer Systems Analyst, its my first job and I've been at it for almost 5 months now. I don't like to brag, but I'm overperforming and everyone is really happy with how I work and communicate.
After my 1st month I got assigned to be the analyst, designer, and administrator of one of the biggest IT projects in the company. Heck, its one of the biggest IT projects in the country! (Small country afterall). Good thing is that I joined a bit late in the project so I won't have to worry about the initial headache, but the amount of stuff I learned is simply amazing.
Right now, I initiate meetings, and soon I'm going to be training all the managers around here into using this new system..
I know I'm being vague, but further detailed information is strictly confidential.
Well this should cover up the basics. Looking forward to be part of the guild! Btw, my English is flawed since its not my primary language, but I try to act fluent.
