Hiya Folks,

My name is Inithri and I would like to throw my hat in the ring with TOG, if you would have me. A friend of mine (Scarlett, who just applied a few posts down from me) told me about TOG, and it sounded like it was right up my alley.

A little about me.

I current live in Connecticut, and work as an Engineerfor Electric Boat, building submarines for the Navy. I served on subs myself from 89-97.

I am an avid MMORPG fan. Although I have not played all the titles that have come out, but I have played my fair share. I cut my teeth in the genre with UO, and was quickly hooked. I played on Atlantic shard, as Inithri/Enock from launch for about 5 and a half years. I spent most of that time as a member of the Wind Guardians, and later co GM of the Knights of Dominion (KoD). UO remains the measuring stick to which I have compared all other games. As DSL/cable was just really hitting the scene, my 56k modem wouldn't let me compete and alas, had to hang up my bag of recall runes.

After UO, I moved on to DAOC, (can't recall which server now) about a 6 months after release, and which I played for close to 4.5 yrs. Started out in Albion as a Palidan (Enock) and Infiltrator (Inithri), and well as many crafting trades. I was a member of Paradox for close to 3 yrs. Made the switch to Midgard to change things up a bit, and co founded Black Flag, a small guild mostly of ex Doxer's.

Then came WoW. For the life of me, I just couldn't get into that game. I tried on and off for about a year, mostly due to real life friends egging me on. But I musta been wearing my teflon suit, cause it just didn't stick.

Aces High held my attention off and on for a long time, specially as a member of the Arabian Knights.

SWG was my biggest let down. I HUGE Star Wars fan, an MMO about the SW universe sounded like it was better than free online porn. But alas, SOE killed it. After just under a year, and the Combat Upgrade, I couldn't take it anymore. Even the awesome crafting system couldn't hold me there any longer.

Now, AoC. This game has alot of promise, regardless of the bugs. I have been around too many launches to expect perfection. I am currently a 53 Stygian Ranger - Bow spec for now on Bloodspire. I have selected Gemcutting and Weaponsmithing as my trades, and currently have finished most of the tier 2.5 gathering, and tier 2 WS quests.

I usually play between 8-10 EST, most nights. sometimes longer on the weekends. Unlike 10 yrs ago, I do not have the time to invest massive ammounts of time to a game anymore. I am definitely looking for a mature guild to hang with and have some fun.....and do some damage.

I look forward to playing with you all, and will do my best to bring honor to TOG.
