[DONE] A newbie from Sweden says Hi!

First of all, the instructions tells me that I shall confirm that I am older than 25! Well I can give you my birth date which is 15 July 1972, hence claiming to be 36 years old, which doesn’t prove anything really. However, if I let you know that I do know who Samantha Fox is, and I as a teenager dreamt that Sabrina had myself in mind when singing (if you can call that singing) about “Boys boys boys” I think that my claim gains credibility. Top that with the fact that I really do not understand how it comes that kids of today seemingly cannot put their pants on in normal fashion, I feel my age is confirmed.

My name is Peter and I am a Swede, and sadly to say my English is not what it should be, why I ask for your patience with me. I’m a father of two boys, 10 and 5 years old, and I am happily married since many years. I work as a manager with a consultancy firm and have a house just outside Gothenburg.

Family, work and house chores take up about all of the woken hours of my day, so there has been little time over for gaming. And wouldn’t it be for TES-Oblivion, which I stumbled over two years ago, I wouldn’t be gaming at all I think. I was totally blown away by that game and now I’ve decided to try to play Age of Conan, which I’ve had installed. I am still reading on different web pages trying to learn more about online gaming before I actually venture on the realms myself. So far with little success, I feel more confused the more I learn. That’s why I was so happy to stumble over this guild where I hopefully will find gamers that have patience with a newbie as me and all the questions that is inevitable to follow.

In TES-Oblivion I play a knight of the old school, righteous, fair and with a good portion of chivalry. Lending my sword to whoever needing it to fight evil and injustice. My character does not fully trust magic, so he never learned much about it. However a knight shall use a great deal of his time to study, a great intellect and knowledge is important for a nobleman! Hence my character has chosen nature science as field of interest which comes in handy when making potions, lethal ones to spice up the tip of the sword. This might be a foolish approach in AoC but will still be my strategy to survive in Hyborian.

The most likely time of the day for me to play Age of Conan – Hyborian Adventures is between (GMT 20.00) and (GMT 22.00) I will play on PVE: Dagon server.
