TOG - The Older Gamers

Hello there!

My name is Mike, I live in Leeds, UK and am married with two kids.
My wife hates computer gaming with a passion but the kids are quite keen!

I turned 40 this year which I guess qualifies me for ToG. I think I've been a ToG more or less forever, actually - I just didn't know it!

I first got into MMORPG's (like many people, I suspect) when WoW came out in 2005. I played it obsessively (much to my wife's annoyance!) but was always a bit of a solo-ist, so never got too far into the end-game or raiding.
I got a bad case of alt-itis, and had 5 level 70's last time I counted

After three years though, the WoW obsession finally faded, and I started looking around for another game.
I tried EQ2, Guild Wars, and LOTRO, but none of them really 'clicked' with me.

I recently discovered Age of Conan, though, and I'm very impressed with it, so far (even though I had to upgrade virtually every component in my PC to play it!)
I've now got a level 33 Tempest of Set called Sithessa (all my characters are girls - make of that what you will!) on the EU-RP server, 'Hyrkania'.

I'm in a nice little casual RP guild in WoW called 'Aes Sidhe', on the EU Moonglade server. None of those guys seem to want to persevere with AoC, though, so I'm looking for something else there.

Your managing to get yourselves splashed all over the AoC website was quite impressive, so i thought I'd look you up!

Do you have any activity on the AoC Hyrkania server?

Most people have either gone to our guild on Wildsoul (Tears of Greshen) or Dagon (The Older Gamers), the only person i believe was on Hyrkania is Meles, whether he made the guild there or not i have no idea

I've added Meles to my friend list, and will begin an epic search, through sands and rains, and over mountain and....oh, sorry, went a bit RP there!

My Tempest of Set is called Sithessa, btw, in case you see me first!
