Default [DONE] New (or old) old gamer

Hello, I was considering joining TOG a while back, but instead do that now.

I am 36 years from Norway, married, one child out and one still inside my wife. Game junkie for as long as I can remember (from spectrum 48k and trough most consoles and PC's), and I have played many online games- from textbased MUD, Ultima online, SWG, Dungeons and dragons, AO, AC, LOTR online, Eve .. you get it.

Now I'm dabbling in Conan (just installed this weekend), and reinstalled WOW just for fun. Don't have that much time playing games, with new baby comming up and all, but ohwell.

I always prefere PvP servers, but I think too many people are just rude and imature about it. I'm not too fond of spoiled brats who ganks people 50 lvls beond themselves' and speeks L33T. So I'd hope I'd find a travel companion or two here. I prefere trustworthy, mature people who also can pack a punch and take a joke. I think most games would me much more fun filled with people like me

I have read the FAQ'S and conducts.
I also confirm that I am prepared to comply to them, as well as having read and understood them.

I prefer trustworthy, mature people who also pack beer, but that's just me.

Welcome to TOG. Check out the various forums for your favorite games. You can also view other games to get the inside information for how they play and if you'd really enjoy them. Then again I see you're a "try it myself" kinda guy.

Welcome!

Hi all, thanks for the invit and welcomes.

Bayland: pack a beer. Yes, I just forgot to add that. I dont trust people who dont drink beer

WolfDNA: Actually, I have Guildwars DVD in my game shelf, but i Just have a few chars out of newbiezone. I think the main problem for me continuing was finding people to play with that did not demand huge amounts of time invested in the game.

If it was up to me, I'd play many of the games listed still, but I'm no longer young free and single. Kids and wife take priority, that means I have to turn off mid-quest sometimes. And it makes me feel a bit bad.

Anyhow, perhaps I reinstall GW and drop a note some sunny day
