TOG - The Older Gamers

I am a keen gamer, but as a shift-worker, my time to play is often limited. Some guilds can be a bit inflexible, I have found, so I am looking for somewhere that tolerates a casual gamer. The fact that TOG offers a whole online community is very interesting.
Been gaming since an early age, with a Hitachi console, C64 and Sega Megadrive, and many hours down the Video Arcade. I think Firebird's Elite (C64/Amiga) is the greatest game of all time. I spent a lot of time playing D&D as a kid, and Cyberpunk and Call of ChThulu as a young adult, as well as Magic, the Gathering and some table-top war-games.
The PS2 and the GTA series got me seriously rehooked, and then I got into Diablo II, Warcraft and then WoW. Age of Conan, however, is the apotheosis. I have been playing on the Gwahlur server for six weeks now, and loving it, but I know my experience would be enhanced if I were in a guild. I am often tired and antisocial after work, when I play to unwind, and my mic on my headphones is playing up, making Vent tricky until I replace. My entry into the social aspects of the game has therefore been limited. Believe me, I have a passion for MMORPG, and I would like the opportunity to contribute.
