Hello TOG, I'd like to join the crew. I've glossed over all the rules and regs, I'll not lie and say I've read every word, but they are standard enough for me to be familiar with them, and I have good internet manners in any case. (Edit: And of course I agree to abide by them!)

I'm a Kiwi bloke, kidnapped and dragged to Australia by a wonderful Aussie girl (yeah that's right, a kiwi used the words 'wonderful' and 'aussie' sequentially!). We are living and working happily in Melbourne for the now.

I'm quite a social gamer. I love the idea behind MMOs, but they almost always disappoint. I've been playing MMOs since Meridian 59 (Does anyone else remember that?) EVE was the closest to perfection of all the MMOs I have played, but that ended up being too much like hard work.

At the moment my gaming time is being mostly consumed with Dwarf Fortress, Diablo 2 (revisiting for the nth time), and Forged Alliance, in that order. One of my mates who is in TOG has convinced me to join in the TOG Forged Alliance tournament, which sounds like a worthy use of my gaming time. Hopefully we can rise above T1 spam tactics. I'm supposed to be playing Age of Conan as well, but those little dwarfs are just so damned addictive!!

I'm eagerly awaiting Fallout 3 (if Aus doesn't get it I may have to move back to NZ early!), Spore, and Diablo 3.
