TOG - The Older Gamers

Hail and well met fellow mature gamers! My name is Matthew - I am 39 years old and live in Wichita, Kansas.

I heard about TOG via Cyrik on the Gwahlur server. I have been playing AoC for 10 days now and I am having a blast. I am a level 25 Demonologist named Moonwynd.

My online gaming history is:

7 years in EQ with the same guild - Sovereign
3 years in WoW with the same guild - Sovereign (guild moved to WoW)
3 years in EQ2 with a still active account - never been in a guild in EQ2

I also play CoD2 and CoD4 from time to time.

Long gone are the days when I could raid from 5 PM until 3 AM six nights per week. Now that I am older, married and have children, gaming is not my entire life - just a wonderful hobby that enjoy immensely.

I am a social gamer. I enjoy chatting, grouping and helping others with quests/missions or just grinding exp together. I am happy go lucky - I always endeavor to be the best I can be in any game but never at the expense of another's feelings - I am zero drama. I am looking for a home in AoC and from reading through the website and a quick chat with Cyrik, I am officially applying.

I live in the Central time zone - and my playtime is generally from 9 PM until Midnight - on weekends I get more playtime in

In "real life" I am a 39 year old, married father of three wonderful girls (13, 4 and 18 months). I earn my keep as the Director of IT for a national company based here in Wichita. In my spare time I love gaming, playing with my kids, restoring old tube radios from the 30's, 40's and 50's - and I am the founder and president of the Midwest Beard and Moustache Club.
