Background:

I have been playing video games for as long as I can remember. I started out with console gaming with the Nintendo and have had most console games since then. I even have a Virtual Boy (not sure if anyone knows what that is, but I have one). I currently have a WII and XBOX 360 where I occasionally play Super Smash Bros., Mario Kart (Nothing beats Mario Kart 64), Halo, Rock Band, and Guitar Hero. I used to be an avid console gamer, but it has reduced greatly ever since getting a computer and dialup. That's when the real fun happened.

I started my MMORPG experience with Asheron's Call which I played for about 4 years. I used to have to play this on dialup or free internet where the company's banner was always on top. I wish they would make another game like this because that was the best MMORPG i've ever played and it would be a heck of a lot more fun with a cable modem. Anyway, after Asheron's Call I took a brief break from MMORPG's to rehash my skills with Age of Empires before delving back into MMO's and trying out City of Heroes, which I never got into.

After another break, WoW came out and that became my new game. I briefly played Alliance before switching to a server a friend of mine was on and became Horde. I ended up meeting my boyfriend (Zhom) on this new server. I played that for about 3 years I guess and made it to the first few bosses in SSC and TK before getting burnt out from the game entirely. From there I played LOTRO for a few months but once I hit max level I got tired of that game. I moved over to Age of Conan which was a fantastic game. I had a lot of fun leveling up but once I hit max level I realized how much they had screwed up that game. I played for a few months before leaving the game the day they put the gem nerf on test.

As you can see, I am now moving to Warhammer. What a great game from what i've seen so far. I played during preview weekend and during open beta to get a feel for this game and I am having a lot of fun. I will be playing a Shaman.

I was born and raised in Michigan but have since moved to North Carolina with my boyfriend, Zhom. I'm a heavy gamer so I play all the time when i'm not at work. I am in the IT Industry and currently work a 3-day shift so I have plenty of time to play games. I am also a HUGE sports fan. My favorite teams being from Michigan, of course, and my favorite sport to watch being Hockey. My time online will likely be reduced whenever I can watch the Detroit Red Wings.
