TOG - The Older Gamers

Hey there,

I'm 27, from London originally but now living in Cambridge, and have been playing WoW for about 3 years now. At present I'm playing a 70 rogue (Zkazi) on Stormscale but I started out back in the day with my mage (Szas). I'm planning on getting off this somewhat densely packed server (you can't move wihout bumping into some PvP star's entourage of fans!) towards the end of this month and making a break for Deathwing.

I've been in a variety of guilds over the years and I can safely say that I'm sick to the teeth of having to deal with so many immature players. After a bout of AV or AB, filled with such eloquent witticisms as "OMG N00bzors liek l2play rofflecopter !!11" "My mom pwns your mom" "[insert random nonsensical insult]", it really does put you off somewhat! It'd be great to be around more mature, Older even, players for a change. And that, is why I'm here!

I'm a PhD student right now, just finishing my thesis (developmental biology for any other potential sciencey nerds out there) at present. Well, when I say 'finishing' I mean fannying around about actually starting! When not in the lab or playing WoW I try and get my arse into the gym when I can; in my mind it makes up for all the idle time spent pipetting or "wizarding" as my missus calls it!
