[DONE] Guild Wars Membership Request

Hello All (Father as well)

I was once a member of TOG a while back when I was playing WOW. I left the game behind as I felt that the compulsion to play was far too strong and took up too much of my time - I was paying to play so it made sense to get my monies' worth.

I have since discovered Guild Wars; ah, the pleasure of no subscription fees! And now that I am starting to get into it - whenever I can - it'd be great to be able to join a guild where gamers of a similar RL situation as mine can enjoy all the game and our shared company has to offer...

... Therefore I would like to make the request to be able to join up with TOG on a permanent basis, and be part of your Guild Wars, um... guild.

How to go about this I have no idea - still new to GW - but I hope you will grant your blessing in this matter and information as to how to join up.

I live - still - in Durban, South Africa. I am an Art Director in a small advertising company, happily married for nearly 4 years now to Jess, and am an avid gamer. Mostly console games (PS2, PSP, one day a PS3!!!) otherwise I do enjoy PC games... but don't own one. Which was why I used to play WOW because I could do so on my Mac at work. Now I've used Boot Camp to run Windows on my Apple laptop, and that's how I play Guild Wars.

I enjoy reading, movies/series, good coffee, surfing (once summer hits again and I can force myself to actually be active!!!) and otherwise spending my time with my wife and friends.

Hoping to be accepted and enjoy a little company in game.

We have an alliance of five guilds across time zones playing at the moment. Check out the New Member thread When you're ready to jump into the mix - just post an invite request for the guild that most closely matches your play times and join the fun. Everyone is really helpful and information is abundant, so don't be shy.
