Been playing MMO's for quite a while now, used to be pretty hardcore, but since almost losing my wife as well as damn near 2 years of my life to SWG (before the dark times) I've enjoyed a happy medium of gaming and RL. I generally only play on weekends now and although I do sometimes get caught up leveling, questing, loot seeking binges I mostly tend to just enjoy the games, wander, chat, join in on silly past times (hide and seek in Bree, and having fun with the follow bug in Bree come to mind). I'm currently playing Lotro and Toontown (with my son) but have also played SWG (obviously), WoW (who hasn't),DDO and short stints in a few others.
I have been searching long and hard for a good guild, who knew it would be so hard and hope I can find it in your good company. I'm not interested in a guild/kin that has little or no interest in the game besides endgame dungeons and PvP and have found that to be a huge hurdle. I enjoy mindless banter, activities that are fun and still accomplish goals, I'm about having fun this is my relaxation time not my second job. Grinding is fine in small doses, but its always more fun with others and at a relaxed pace, throw up a campfire kill a bunch hang out chat for a bit go kill some more type thing. I've reached the point in my gaming life where I can watch "The Guild" from youtube and laugh rather than gasping OMG are they filming me...+3 dexterity (if you haven't seen them they are worth a watch). Anyway, enough of my boring banter, I respectfully submit this as my application to your fine kin.
Jeff
