There are some key things you MUST state in order to be considered for membership. These include:

1. You are over 25. You Bet (63)!
2. You have read and AGREE to abide by the TOG Code of Conduct Yes! The Uniform Code of Military Justice was less restrictive
3. You have read and AGREE to and abide by the TOG Acceptable Useage Policy (AUP) Sure - you can't help liking an organization that uses the acronym AUP!
4. You have read and AGREE to abide by the Forum & Server Guidelines Yes - Let me guess its F,S&G, right?
5. You have read the Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) Document. Yes - The Toy Store document FAQ Swartz
6. You have read and AGREE to abide by the Signature and Avatar Guideline. Yes....
   I'm sixty three years old, I'm retired and play all the time day and night (all kinds of games). I live on the East Coast of the United Sates and first started playing in ther late 70s (remeber ZORK)

Do you think you could make registration any harder - this is an organization for old people. right?

Guess my guidance wasn't as clear as you would have liked? Sometimes it can be a bit confusing, I know. As my real life friend, I would love to have you join us in the Osgiliath Guard!

I think the registration process was created to dissuade any under 25's from joining....after many studies it was found that their attention span is not developed enough to make it through the process.

Either that or we're really aiming for older gamers, by the time you finish reading all that you would be 63!

I think the under 25 attention span be may be true but it is complex if you have never been part of tog before. The good news is once you get through this its pretty easy.

Glad Cres talked you into joining the kin. I look forward to getting a chance to play with you and Cres in game.

We can make it harder, its just getting the results from the aptitude tests, the physical exams, and getting people to jump through hoops and send us the video just became a little time consuming.

Although the videos did provide some great laughs at times.

So we now just ask that people take the time to read what TOG is about and agree that they are ok with our guidelines in case at a later stage they choose not to.

Didn't think it was too hard now.
