I am 45 years of age.

Now that I have listed the required information, I will post a bit about myself.

I am Mymir, or I should say I play Mymir on the Elendilmir Server of Lord of the Rings Online.

I have been a member of the LOTRO community since I was accepted in Closed Beta on Sept. 11, 2006.

Apart from a 4 month leave of absence recently, I have been an active member since that day.

Mymir is a Guardian of the race of Men. He is my primary character and the one that I really enjoy playing the most. He is currently 52nd level, halfway to 53rd, and I am currently exploring the outside environment surrounding the Dwarven city of Moria.

As for me, David, I have been involved in one MMOG or another since 1999. I started in EverQuest 1 about 6 months after it went Live. I stayed with that game for about 4 or 5 years. I began playing Anarchy Online about a month after it went Live and stayed for 4 years as well. After a brief stint in World of Warcraft, about 2 months, I took a break from games until I found Lord of the Rings Online. I was active on the forums for about 6 months before Beta, and continued to be active once the game went into Closed Beta then Open Beta, then on to Live Release.

Once the game went into Live release, I decided to concentrate more on what went on in the game than what went on in the Forums.

As for my time in Lord of the Rings. I have been playing Mymir as my main character since Day One of Live release. I occassionally take a few days off to play an alt, but I tend to come back to the first and most favorite character. They say you never really let go of the first one.

I have been involved in several kinships since the game was released. The first, Gray Council of Arnor, I actually joined before the game was out. I worked my way to Officer status and remained a member of the kinship for about a year. Since I resigned from the Gray Council, I have been a member and an officer in The Rangers of Tharbad, Defenders of the Greyflood, House of Hadrillion, and Wolves of Arnor.

The last kinship, Wolves of Arnor, is a kinship that myself and a few real-life friends started so that we could communicate and socialize without difficulty. I am the last remaining active member of Wolves of Arnor, and if I should be accepted into The Osgiliath Guard, I will step down as Leader.

As for me personally, I consider myself to be someone that enjoys every part of a game that I play. I craft, I roleplay, I participate in Raids and fellowships. I have even been known to PvMP occassionally. Although I do so as my "creep" exclusively. I just never got into the Moors with Mymir.

I am sure there are about a thousand or so things I should be including in this post, but if I don't bring it to a close, I will most likely run on forever. I will wait to be contacted either by email or ingame.
