Now the good bit....

Im a forty something regular gamer just emerging from an extended period of incarceration in the world of console games (damn kids and 360 media extender capabilities) and slowly re-entering the world of pc gaming. FPS have been the flavour of late - COD4, FC2 (what a disappointment) - along with GH World Tour when the damn peripherals work grrr, but lately I've been feeling the urge to return to the PC and search out a good MMO. Darkfall is the great white hope for me, so Im looking forward to the alleged release on the 22nd and hoping like hell the lag from the EU servers will be tolerable. Or else I think I'll settle into Middle Earth or maybe Stargate or Star Wars if the goods match the hype.

In any case, IMHO a good MMO is made by being part of a good guild, so Im hoping that my joining this site will enable that. Im relatively noob at MMO but Im sure I'll pick it up quickly enough. Im Adelaide based and usually around after 9pm most nights. Look forward to getting to know you all.
