Hello, my name's Jeremiah and I'm 27 from western Pennsylvania. I recently started playing Darkfall Online and was looking for a clan to join when I saw Ryo Riptide recruiting for TOG. After asking Ryo a few questions, I decided to check out the website, and decided I would apply after reading the FAQ. I've had a DF account for a while, but had set-backs (couldn't install it then my RAM died) so only started playing recently. My ping hasn't been too reliable, so I'm still a newbie at the starter town fighting goblins here and there. I've mostly been logging and mining to start a crafting career, as it's an aspect of MMOs (especially with full loot) that I enjoy. I also get weird lag spikes sometimes, and luckily when it happens I know the trees aren't going to kill me while I lag. I haven't bought any careers yet, as I thought I'd wait and see if there were any crafters that were needed, but I was leaning towards Bowyer and Tailor. So for now my Mahirim character Kwargkh BitterFire is chopping down trees outside of Whiteclaw.
A bit about myself, I've been playing games my whole life starting with the Atari and Commodore 64. I've enjoyed most game genres (with the exception of sports) but usually lean towards strategy or RPGs, however I've played many fps games in the past as well. I started playing online games in 1996 with
Neverwinter Nights on AOL, and when that was shut down I started playing the MUD
Realms of the Dragon. After UO was released in '97 I played on Napa Valley for many years, taking a break here and there to try other games (like The Realm, if anyone remembers that one) but always going back. I've played a decent amount of the major games such as EQ, AC, DAoC, SB, AO, GW, WoW, and WAR, but also a bunch of asian or other less known games. Other games I've played a lot of are Quake 2 Weapons Factory mod, Team Fortress 1 & 2, Counter-Strike, UT, and Diablo 2. For the future, I've been following Mortal Online and Global Agenda.
In oNWN I joined the guild Lost Soldiers of Darkness, and played with them for almost every MMO except for WoW. Starting in EQ I became an officer of the guild, and have held positions of GM and AGM at various times in various games. Unfortunately in WAR, the division didn't have enough support and for the members who were actually playing, we merged into the guild Reign of Darkness after starting the Age of War alliance. But I digress, point being it'll be a nice change of pace to be a normal member again and won't have any "politics" to do.
Anyways, TOG sounds like a great group of members and hopefully I'll be joining you in the near future.
