Default [DONE] I would like to join EU LOTRO /The Order of Gilthoniel

First things first:

  1. You are 25 or over. DOB is 3/10/75, putting me at 33
  2. You AGREE to abide by the TOG Code of Conduct Guidelines YES
  3. You AGREE to, and will abide by the TOG Acceptable Useage Policy (AUP) YES
  4. You AGREE to abide by the Forum & Server Guidelines YES
  5. You have read the Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) Guidelines YES
  6. You AGREE to abide by the Signature and Avatar Guidelines Yes
I am currently playing LOTRO on the EVERNIGHT server. What follows is probably more info than you need (or want for that matter), but here goes.

I always swore that I would never purchase a game that required me to not only purchase the software but also pay a subscription fee. But then I read about LOTRO and checked out some reviews, and folded like a cheap card table. I am currently playing a level 9 champion Dwarf named Khralin (since Saturday).

My wife and I have our own business and work from home, so I basically play whenever she lets me, which can be during the day but mostly after 8 pm when our 2.5 year old has definitively gone to bed.

This is my first MMORG, and I'm a little nervous playing with others because I am really still figuring out how to play. If you all can have a little patience with me, it would be much appreciated I am also always open to advice and (constructive) criticism. Hopefully I'll pick up the terms and etiquette quickly.

Cheers, hope you had a great weekend.

Hi Jaydun

Welcome to TOG I see you have already found your way to the LOTRO forum so we will get you invited in game as sson as we see you. There are plenty of first time MMO players in the kinship (including me) so you will be in good company.

In addition to posting in the invite thread as you have already done feel free to post a longer intro, like the one you have here, in the kinship forum (under the LOTRO one) as I am sure more of the kinship will see it there and take the time to say hello
