Howdy,

Well, I've been playing computer games since around 1984 when I got my first computer (c64). I loved all sorts of games like Sid Meiers Pirates, balderdash, Gianna Sisters (rip off of Mario Bros), etc. Eventually moved to PCs with a 286 (20MHz beast) - playing text based adventure games and dungeon crawlers in a home made BBS. I love old games like civilization, populous, lemmings, eye of the beholder, bards tale 3, wolfenstein, doom, warcraft (the RTS), and newer ones like baldurs gate 1 & 2 (best games ever), Age of Empires, Quake and current(ish)games like WoW. Absolutely hanging out for Dragon Age Origins.
Pen and paper games: I used to play a little D&D with a few different groups.. I don't actually recall if/what the sets were, or if they were just straight out of the D&D handbook and the GMs imagination - it's 15-20 years ago now. Other than that, tic tac toe, paddocks, etc

I want to join TOG because a lot of my friends have drifted away from gaming, and I'd like to meet a group that I can count on for my gaming needs

I live in a tiny little town 800kms west of adelaide, south australia (Ceduna), so there's not too much to distract me from the gaming
