Default [DONE] application

Hello all,

I'm 25, almost 26. I know most of you would laugh or smile, but it seems that gaming is looked down upon by almost nearly everyone around me, my wife, my parents, friends,co-workers. And I don't care. Computer games are the new movies, they are the new theater, the new hunt during the middle ages, whatever other thing that gets ppl happiness. Some go to nightclubs, some jump from planes, some ski, others play games.
During the day I work for the 2nd largest Japanese corporation and have to handle all matters related to the far east of Russia. I love my job, but now I hate the japanese married, no kids(yet, but soon to come), and me game time is around DT(several hours before and several after). My other hobbies and activities include skiing, ice skating, camping/hiking during the summer, drinking beer(within reason, not a drunk).
I want to join a community of likeminded people, and wish to have ppl of the same age or maybe older that might tell me something I don't know not spew bullshit, and at the same time have a better understanding that sometimes games have to be moved to the backlines for real life problems and issues which may arise.
I've been playing video games since my parents bough a 486 66mhz PC with 1mb ram in the long passed 1991. The big floppy disks which fit like 1-2 games. But those games were the best damn thing it would seem at the time. Wolfenstiend 3d, Doom1 and 2, Suriken, and after that almost all games that came out, until I found EVE. Even though i've tried other MMO games like lineage, wow, earth and beyond was rather good, and many others which were nothing special and god boring real fast. But it all stopped when i tried EVE. Of course i play other games which come out and are rather good or are a long running tradition of high value entertainment. GTA1-4, supreme commander, X1-3, operation flashpoint, etc.
I've been playing eve for almost 1.5 years, i can't say that i'm an uber mega pvp addict, but I've already gone through the n00b period, the empire period, tried 0.0 as a citizen which was the worst, and then played some time in NPC 0.0 where I've now finally got fed up with the corp i'm with now and had been from the start. I want to move on to a big corp with many players from AUS/NZ wherever, who share my timezone so that I'd have more then just me, and therefore maybe pick on someone tougher then industrials or cyno-alts travelling through my small camp.
