[DONE] Application - EU LOTRO / The Order of Gilthoniel

Hello All!

I am interested in full membership, mainly for Lord Of The Ring Online at the moment.

I think the first console I ever had was a ZX Spectrum, I was very young then as I am now 26. I can't really remember much about it though lol. The first MMO I played as Asheron's Call and I played it for a very long time (years). Since then I have played loads; Everquest, Asheron's Call 2, WOW, Anarachy Online, Lineage 2, Star Wars, Everquest 2 etc. etc. I can safely say that LOTRO is the only one that compares in terms of the enjoyment I got from the first MMO I played, it's what everyone wanted Asheron's Call 2 to be and I expect to play it for a good length of time.

My reasons for wanting to join The Order of Gilthoniel are very simple. You have an excellent RaidPlanner, its the best I've seen and I've tried to look at every kinship available! The obvious fact you are an older community which is often a better option for like-minded people is also a pulling point e.g.. any events will be arranged at suitable times for working people. Also, from what I can tell you are one of the larger Kinships on the Evernight server, not that size is important but it's usually a good bonus. You just present yourselves in a good way; nice website, a larger well known parent community, a proper recruitment process etc.

So far, I have been playing LOTRO for about 2 months, mainly with my dad and my brother (we all started around the same time). I am pretty sure my dad (level 56 Runekeeper) and brother (level 52 Minstrel) will be interested in joining TOG as well. At the time of writing this my main is a Level 58 Hunter called Anvar and a recently started an alt called Vannor (level 14 Guardian). I would like both characters to be members. I have only just started to experience endgame content and have been looking for a good kinship that can help me learn about it, get the most out of it and help others get the most out of it, with a fair loot system for all members.

I forgot to write about my location and play times in the previous post. I am in West Yorkshire, England and expect to be playing out of normal working hours i.e. not between 9-5 during weekdays. However, there are times when I will be playing during daytime hours and sometimes I play late into the night, especially on weekends.

Hi and welcome to TOG. A mod will be along shortly to do the formal stuff. When that happens pop on down to the LOTRO forums and pop your character name(s) into the invite thread and one of the officers will sort out the in-game invite. It's worth having a quick look at the sticky threads in the main LOTRO forum and the sub-forum for the kinship as they have quite a lot of info on how we do things.
