Hello everyone,

Just like to introduce myself. I found you via a kinship on Lord of the Rings Online called the Order of Gilthoniel. Firstly, I must say, what a top idea, having this kind of a link for old farts like me, being 36. That might just put me in the whipper snapper brigade.

Gaming history reverts back to reading text book adventures .. go to page 1 and .. then to.. page 57.. moved onto chucky egg and elite on the bbc computer. You remember those clasics. I spent hours playing elite.

I advanced in my computer gaming to playing an online mud called midnight sun. I thought that was fab.

Played most rpgs like baldurs gate 1 and 2, kotor, deus ex was fantastic when you could put a explosive box in the way of a sentry and then sniper it from a distance and bang goes the droid sentry.

Played Morrowind 2 and 3 and Oblivion. Thought morrowind was better than oblivion well apart from the graphics.

Now I have recently played Mass Effect which I can not rate highly enough if you like a good story and jedi knight 2 outcast.

In relation to why I am hoping to join this group of players is I have played Lotro or Lord of the Rings online along time and been everything from a kinship leader to just a humble plod. Now I am in the process of having a baby and it would be nice to move along with some familiar faces to others in the group to other mmo that I have my eye on. TOR or The Old Republic. Some sensible people that like group play and get on with no bickering.

Will try to contact the officers of the Order of the Gilthoniel and see what comes of my membership. If I am successful in my application I would warmly welcome it as what a fantastic idea you have going here. Might find the odd sensible player to group with.

Anyways .. hope I have given you some memory flashbacks there.
