Default [DONE] Membership Application

Currently, I play Everquest II and Dungeons and Dragons Online (for which I've been selected to participate in the Beta for the new version). I also plan on trying the new DC Universe Online when it's released by Sony later this year. I would be looking to play with TOG members in all of these games.

I began playing games almost as soon as I was able to hold the controls. My first system was an Atari which must have been high tech as it had a keyboard built into the console and included an external 5 1/4 floppy drive. I started with with the basics to include Pong and Frogger and eventually worked my way into Zork, Wizardry, and Dallas. Like many my age I had the Nintendo, Nintendo 64, Playstation, etc. I became hooked on such classics as Final Fantasy and Dragon Quest. In my teen years I began playing the paper version of Advanced DND. During my six years in the Navy I had a lot of time available to play with my fellow Sailors. It's a game I continue casually today although I've progressed through the third edition and am currently learning the fourth.

I started MMORPG's in 2005 having been introduced to EQII by my father. Since then I've played City of Heroes, Star Wars Galaxies, Vanguard, Dungeons and Dragons Online, and Conan Online. I continue with EQII and DND Online today.

I would like to TOG in order to associate with people who not only love games but also fit a little better into my age bracket. First, it's easier to group if you have a known dedicated group of people to group with...duh. Second, I've had several negative experiences with younger players who lack the experience and mature attitude necessary to play with adults. Additionally, there's often an unspoken "G" rating placed on conversation making the game less entertaining as certain subjects become off limits and every conversation becomes a family drama between me and "mommy".

As previously mentioned, I spent six years in the United States Navy. I left that life four years ago but am still proud of my service. Today I work for the Unemployment Agency in Washington State. Needless to say, I stay busy and can certainly appreciate some stress relieving games! For gaming purposes, In EQII, I have a Level 80 Guardian by name of Thakai who is also a Level 80 Armorer and a Tier 8 Tinkerer. I'm currently developing a Rogue in DND Online.

I hope my application for membership goes through successfully. If you have any questions please feel free to ask.
