I've been gaming since the commodore vic20- it used a tape recorder and funky long cartridges- we owned aq C64/128 and then an Amiga2000 which was where you found the REAL hardcore games in the 16bit era- we also had an original NES. I skipped the PS1/N64 era so I could indulge in teenager, early twenties type stuff (y'know...) but the PS2/GC/XBOX war pulled me back in. Now I have a 360, wii, PSP, and a PS3. keeps my kids (i have4) busy- well, it really keeps me busy.
Primarily, I'm an online gamer- having dabbled in the original Team Fortress back in year 2000 I was hooked. I'm glad I found this site and would really like to be a member as you just don't seem to find too many of our type gaming online- it's mostly a bunch of foul mouthed kids I really can't and don't want to relate to. Don't get me wrong I have tons of juvenile friends that don't feel the need to use profanity but the majority of what I've come across really dumb down the experience. Well enuff 'bout me- anyone out there been playing Killzone2? If so what do you think and is it me or is becoming Halo-fied? ' |
