Default [DONE] Niels's Application

Hi All,

I'm Niels, 33, dutch and currently living in The Hague, Holland.

On a break from WOW i decided to give LOTR-online another go. I'm looking for a guild to chat with while running around carrying Pies and postbags. Silks recommended TOG as a nice bunch of people, so that would fit the bill perfectly.

The first computer game i played must have been Krackout on the C64, brilliant game with the whole screen flashing to some freaky music . That's not counting those black and brown handheld games like Frogger and Donkey Kong. Later i spent many nights sneaking out of bed playing Secret of the Silverblades, Ultima Underworld and all those like it. Since i have tried nearly all MMORPS out there, mainly EQ1 and Warcraft though playing Dr Duracell with his Bidi-Bidis in CoV was good fun aswell.

A friend introduced me to pen and paper RPGs in highschool and i instantly fell in love with the magic of living in a fantasy world. Pretty soon i was running (quite noisy) D&D sessions in the cafeteria. Most kids thought i had lost it flailing my arms around pretenting to be a spearwielding kobold come to rob the party . But some were interested and the virus spread.

In RL i work in a musem as a Manager / Art-technician and am trying to finally finish my degree in Facilities Management. When i finish i'm off travelling again ! I spent a few months living in Coogee, Sydney on a world trip and instantly felt at home with the people (and the gamers !) Been back a few times visiting friends in Melbourne and everytime it's harder to leave. I would love to live / work in Australia, with my degree on the horizon it's time to put some effort into that dream

Well that's me in a nutshell, i hope to talk to some of you online. I'll bring Pie

Hi and welcome to TOG. A Moderator will be along in a bit to do the formal stuff. When that is done pop on down to the LOTRO forum and pop your character names in the invite thread for the EU kinship which you will find here.

Once you have done that the appropriate Officers can sort you out with an in-game invite
