Hiya,
I've seen TOG tags in a lot of games I've played over the years, and the primary thing I've always noticed is that everybody's super-respectful, never doing the rude things you see so many strangers doing (ninja looting, training people, spewing obscenities when killed in a PvP game, etc.).
I never really thought to apply because I tend to play on my own most of the time or with people I know locally, but today I noticed several TOG leagues in Blood Bowl. A game like that only works with people who can keep their cool win or lose, so I wouldn't want to play with the hotheads that so often turn up in random internet games.
As for the checklist:
1. Right now I'm hoping to play Blood Bowl with TOG folks, but I do play several other games on the side (no MMOs currently, but some TF2 and whatever is interesting in a given month)
2. My first gaming console was an IntelliVision my parents got. We had a dozen or two games, but I only ever played a couple because the rest seemed too hard at the time
3. I went over this a bit in my preamble, but I want to join so I have some people to play with who are able to stay classy whether they win or lose.
4. Not too much special about me. I'm a bit on the younger side than is usual here at 26, but I also started gaming very young so that might count for something

.
I think that by pure chance I played several MMOs (SWG, EQ2, WAR) on the same server as TOG because I remember seeing the tag all over the place, but I may be mixing up a beta or misremembering which was when. I'm pretty sure I remember having my guild almost wiped out in our attempt to take over an order keep roughly 15v15 when about a dozen TOG showed up and turned the tide

.
Also I think I tend to overuse smiley faces.
