Introduction
Hi,
I'm known as begbie and have been since Quake/TeamFortress in the mid to late 90's. In real life I'm generally known as Michael and, somewhat more unusually, as Misha. I've been playing some form of video game for as long as I can remember. I started with hand held games, the type that existed before the gameboy, and things went steadily downhill from there. I enjoy all sorts of games, from FPS and MMO to RTS and empire building types, there isn't much that won't hold my attention for a short time at least. I'll generally try any game once and then play it fanatically until I realise its limitations, get bored, get distracted by another game, or actually finish it (not many single player games hold my attention for a second time, Civilization excluded). These days I tend to play (on the PC) teamfortres2, Warhammer Online and Bloodbowl with the occasional dabble in Left4Dead. On the 360 I've been enjoying a bit of Skate2. There is also a Wii in the house but it doesn't see a whole lot of action. I'm keen to join a group who take gaming seriously but like to enjoy themselves and relax at the same time. Cheers Misha |
