Greetings, fellow Gamers!
I've known of The Older Gamers' existence for a while now, but am just now getting around to applying for your awesome group. Let's just say a friend told me about it until I actually set aside the time to do it.
Let's see, how about I follow your template, and answer those first?
What games are you currently playing/looking to play with ToG?
I'm currently playing an absolute ton of games(at least by my standards)! I'm currently involved in both PC and PS3 games, but as far as multiplayer goes, I am a regular of Left 4 Dead(PC)and Warhammer Online(PC).
I'll occasionally get in a few rounds of Dawn of War II(PC), LittleBigPlanet, Resident Evil 5(PS3)or Team Fortress 2. It all depends on what mood I may be in.

As far as other games are concerned, I enjoy Prototype, Rock Band 2(Drummer for life),S.T.A.L.K.E.R., The Half Life series, and anything Warhammer 40K related. Plus tons more. Ask me later.
What was the first gaming console/pen and paper game you played?
The first gaming console I ever played was the Atari 2600 my Dad got for our family when I was only 4 years old. My Dad used to kick my ass at all kinds of games, ranging from Chopper Command, to Combat, to Enduro. But soon enough, with the birth of the NES, the pupil became the Master, and my Dad gave up games when I was 5. Good times.

The first pen and paper game I ever played was probably D&D. I had a Half-Elf named Hunter. Damn, the 6-7 year old me was creative with names back then! I soon afterward moved on AD&D, Marvel Super Heroes, Shadowrun, Werewolf: The Apocalypse, and tons of others. Sadly, I have not taken up my dice in about 15 years.
Why do you want to join ToG?
It's simple, really. In the day and age of Online gaming, I am pretty much sick and tired of being inundated with horrible gamers, and little kids who just learned the F word, that never stop using it. Believe you me, I can be as fowl as the next guy, if not worse....but I don't need that going through my headphones and chat logs 24/7. I'm looking for a bunch of guys and gals my age or older to play games with. I'm looking for a group of honest, skilled, fun players to hang out with in all manner of games, to have a good time with, and destroy the enemy with. I've come to the right place, haven't I?

I'm also very excited about the fact that you follow each other into seperate games. If one group of folks decide to try out other games, you just post on the forums you are all members at, and pick your game. That's very cool.
Besides, I've seen you in various games. The only one that comes to memory right now is the Proudmoore server of WoW. I played a Nelf Druid named Kezef, and was a member of the legendary <Aus> guild. I was their favorite American.

Soon after, I was an Orc Shaman named Stormgrip, and ran with all manner of awesome guys and great players. I remember Thorns of Gold as both an ally and enemy. Each time, I had the upmost respect for you all. It's just a game, after all.
Tell us about yourself, or anything else you'd like to share.
I'm a Gamer. I play a fair amount of games every week, sometimes online, sometimes not. I have no problems spending a day on the couch with a controller in my hands, while the Wife does all manner of errands.
I've seen gaming grow from an Embarassing Habit to a Multi-Billion Dollar Industry. I appreciate all kinds of games, from independent games like Flower, to blockbuster games like Prototype, and also artistic ones like Ico.
Games are my hobby, and although I take them seriously, I do not let them control my life. I am a married man, and a hardworking CNC Machinist for a really good company. Those things will come first, always. But when I have time to sit back in front of my PC or PS3, I want to unwind, and have a good time.
Thank you for your time, and I hope to be a viable member of the legendary Older Gamers faction soon.
