To Whom It May Concern:

I ran across Deadman Stalker (first in scanning the chat window, and then again quite literally) while playing Darkfall Online this evening. I'm 27 from Indiana in the U.S. and I'm interested in playing with some men and women who are old enough to not take games for granted.

I don't remember specifically what my first online game was -- definitely some sort of MUD -- because I still consider Ultima Online to be my first and last MMO. At least in the scale on which it was able to deliver, no subsequent game has given me the same sense of adventure.

Darkfall offers some of the same elements that made UO so exciting, but none of my current game-playing friends have an interest in it (at least, not yet). Much of what I remember from games such as UO are the shared wow-that-was-unexpected moments that I've had with my friends and other players. I'm applying to TOG in order to have many more.
