Hello,

I'm looking to join tog for a couple reasons. For the past several years I have had people I've gamed with online recommend the site as a place to avoid someone the attitudes that we seemed to all dislike. I would also like to discuss and enjoy gaming with people that are interested and capable of forming a coherent sentence with some semblance of an attempt at grammar and spelling. That a interested in having fun and helping other people do the same.

I've been gaming since I spent a year saving up my allowance to buy a Game Boy. Super Mario Bros, on a two inch gray scale screen was worth every penny. I still have the system. It's in the old hard plastic game boy carry case with a couple of my old games, tucked away under a box of my wife's shoes.

I've played pen and paper games, Star Wars the d6 and the d20. I DM'd a small campaign for the d20 system with my college buddies. And I've played a few small DnD campaigns starting with 2nd edition through 3.5, although I've never been a huge DnD fan.

I'm currently playing World of Warcraft and I just rolled a new toon on Proudmoore to play with my friend Revian (a tog member) and am hoping to join the guild there. I have been playing WoW since the beta and was in the friends and family for TBC.

Most of my gaming interest lies in strategy games digital or paper. My friends and I still enjoy games of Risk and Axis and Allies. I will be playing a lot of Starcraft 2 once its out and hope every morning when I check my email to see a beta invite.

I've had quite a bit of time for gaming since I've gone back to college, the silver lining of the ominous cloud that is unemployment. I'm studying Construction Management and hopefully by the time I'm done in three years there will actually be a few positions open.
