Hey all.

Right. Membership application. Yeah. OK:

As far as the background bits and pieces are concerned... I'm desparately trying to claim that I'm in my mid-thirties, and I cut my gaming teeth back in the early eighties. From starting with space-invader type games loaded by casette onto a ZX81, through all the classic Superior Software games of the BBC model B, by way of Amiga Titles, and then finally onto PC and current consoles.

Initially, it was mostly about multi-player arcade style stuff, of a genre that eventually became First Person Shooters. Played far too much QW:Team Fortress (ran a decidedly second-division TF clan in the UK), and was one of the coding team that produced Q3F.

More recently, I've just got the WoW monkey off my back for the third time (damn those expansions drawing me back in), only to get sucked back to MMO's by Eve.


Oh... and my PS3 Rock Band addiction is getting a tad out of hand. I've been forced to buy quite a fancy drum-kit, and I STILL can't get past Everlong on Expert Drums

And as for 'why I'd like to join'.... It's on the basis of a pure recommendation. Somebody told me that you were a nice bunch of people
