[DONE] New Application - Darkfall

Hi - My online handle is Vern (had to add an extra r in registration to maintain this). I started computer games in the mid 80"s with Ultima 7 (or 6?) on my amber monochrome XT machine. Since that time I have played most of the Might and Magic sequels and the Elder Scrolls games (with the exception of Oblivion as that was during the time of online gaming). I have played many other games in the hack and slash gender - these have been on the PC - I have not played much in the line of box games with the exception of some of the early Colecovision and Nintendo games.

My introduction to online gaming came in 2003 with Shadowbane. I don't remember the first server I was on in SB but when Vengence came out I started with Skyfang then went to OOS and then to EB. I was with EB on Vamp Beta as well. After Vengence EB left SB (organized anyways) and I then went with TW (The Wretched) and was IC with this guild during the remainder of our time in SB. The guild switched over to WOW (in 2005) and I went as well - we went to Gurabashi and our guild had several names over the course of time here - Killing Time was one but mainly IRONY. Again I was IC with this guild. WOW interest dropped with time after WOLK and our guild broke up with a core group going to server Cho'gall under the name of UNKNOWN where activity is currently low with our group.

Darkfall EU1 came out and I spent a few months there learning the game. I have been on NA1 now for 2 weeks and am enjoying the game play in DF immensely. I have been solo so far in DF and I am now looking to join a guild.

Why do I want to join TOG? In DF I heard of TOG for the first time and I visited the website and liked the idea of what is presented here. I have played enough online games to realize that for the most part - it is the immature gamers who spoil the games for the majority of the other players and the idea of a mature group only guild is very appealing to me. I would like to join TOG mainly for DF but if I like the situation I may wish to join for what WOW time I still play.

My location is Vancouver Canada and that puts me in the Pacific time zone. I play most days - 2-4 hours on weekday nights (8-11pm) and 4+ hours on the weekend days (9-12am & 8-12pm).

I am looking forward to playing with TOG if you will have me. Oh yeah - I have Vent or can use Teamspeak as well. I am a young 57.
