Hello all. I saw a posting on the Champions Online preview forums mentioning TOG, and it rattled something loose in my brain. I believe I was involved with the TOG community 5-6 years ago through a Planetside outfit I ran with at the time. The fog of time may have messed my brain, and I see the Planetside forums are locked away here now, so I could be mistaken.

Anyway, I'm in the closed beta and will continue in the open beta of CO, and have pre-ordered the game, so if any TOG folks are playing, I'll look you up if I'm accepted here. I also currently play LOTRO. Unfortunately, my main is not on the TOG server. I may roll an alt on the appropriate server, though, as I am a bit of an alt-aholic, making a new one seemingly weekly.

My first gaming console was a Radioshach knockoff of the Intellivision. I've also had a NES, Super NES, Playstation, GameGear, Dreamcast, PS2, Xbox, and Wii. I started PC gaming in 1992 with my first PC, although a friend had a Commodore 128 in the mid 80's that I played quite alot.

I've played toooo many games to remember, but the main ones were Everquest where I was a guild officer, City of Heroes/Villains, WOW, Age of Conan, Warhammer, Vanguard, LOTRO and several others, paid and free to play. I've also played FPS games including Battlefield 2 in a competitive league where I was a clan officer/league rep/strategy officer, the aforementioned Planetside, Enemy Territory:Quake Wars, and a bit of Combat Arms.

I'm looking to join TOG as I have found that belonging to a dedicated group of good people is paramount to my enjoyment of the game. Soloing is OK, but the social aspect of these games is what I enjoy the most, from simple helping on lowbie quests to high-end raiding. That being said, I am past the point in life where I want to deal with the general riff raff that makes up most PUGs with the drama and E-peen displays. From reading the TOG information, it seems as if I'd have a good group of folks to run with no matter what game I might be playing at the time.

As for me, I'm 43, male, married 25 years with 2 kids, a daughter 24 and a son 19. I live in central Kansas, USA. My playtimes are almost every evening from 6-ish to midnight-ish and anytime on the weekends. Time in game just depends on RL, as that comes first.
